In the first half of 2023, China’s GDP reached 59.3 trillion yuan ($8.25 trillion), up 5.5% YoY. Jiangsu province’s GDP was 6.04 trillion yuan ($840.7 billion), ranking second across China’s provinces, and making up one tenth of the country’s total.
